PILES or Hemorrhoids

PILES also called as Hemorrhoids has become a very common problem now a days
Hemorrhoids are swollen veins found in and around the anus and rectum. They can be either internal or external.
Internal piles again is of 4 types :-
Istgrade , 2nd Grade , 3rd Grade and 4th grade
Some symptoms of hemorrhoids (or piles) include:
• intense itching around the anus
• painful or itchy swelling or lump near your anus
• painful bowel movements
• bleeding from your anus during or after bowel movements
• irritation and pain around the anus

In Ayurveda Piles is called as Arsha . In sushrutsamhita ,It is defined as”arivatprananshrinotihinastiitiarshah
Arsha may be divided into two groups viz. Shushkarsh (Dry piles) and sraviArsh (exudating piles).
How to cure Piles naturally

non-bleeding piles

In case of non-bleeding piles-
1) Fruit of Ajawain (ptycotis) – 1 g. and Kala namak(Black salt) – 1 g. to be taken with Takra (butter milk) twice a day.
2) Fruit rind of Hrad (chebulicmyrobalan) kept overnight in Gomutra (cow’s urine) is to be taken in the dose of 6 to 12 g. withGuda (jaggery), twice a day.
3) Tuber of surana is wrapped in wet soil and placed in fire till the soil gets red .Remove from fire and allow to cool on its own, powder it after removing the

bleeding piles :-

1) Fresh juice obtained from the fruit of Dadima-Anar (pomegranate) – 14 ml., to be taken with 5 to 10 g. Sharkara (raw sugar) twice a day.
2) Powdered fruit pulp of Bilva (bel) – 1 to 2 g. and Shunthi (dried ginger) – 1 g., to be taken with 50 ml. water twice a day.

Again it should be very clear that oral medication is helpful in initial stages of piles or if all tridoshas are not aggravated .
If piles is thrombosed and there is 3rd and 4th grade internal piles then oral medication will rarely help .

bleeding piles :-

Treatment

In that case treatment will treat piles are 1) ,shastrakarm ( Hemorroidectomy ) 2) agnikarma for external pile mass 3) Ksharsutra ligation 4) and very effective Scelotherapy We have an experience of 18 yrs of treating most difficult cases of piles by ksharsutra and Scelotherapy( Treatment by Injection ) We have cured n number of patients by these methods .
